I personally think that school should involve more winter carnivals and fewer essays. Especially since the proportion seems to be a bit uneven as of right now. Clearly there are more feet of parchment than there are fun days in the snow. Maybe the professors get a kick out of watching us drop our guard only to bombard us the day after. So cruel.
If anyone needs me I'll be in the greenhouse tonight. I've been going earlier, but since things seem to have quieted down, I think I can go back to my regular times. The measures will be more accurate that way.

Nothing like coming back to school on your birthday.
I guess it was nice to see everyone again, though. I saw a lot of you at New Year's, but that was almost two weeks ago!
Eighteen sounds so much older than seventeen, doesn't it? I suppose I say that every year, though. Then again, this marks the end of school, and means I actually have to start considering the work force. For all the counseling this school has done about it, I really have no idea what I want to do. Professor Longbottom has suggested some herbology research programs. I think I might start with those...

My brother has apparently lost his mind after finals. Ignore him and his dreams of being a muscle man.
I've only got one person left to shop for, and then I'm done! There's always that one person, isn't there? That one you think might like this and might like that, but you're never certain enough to actually purchase anything for! I haven't given up, though. I'll come up with something.

Things have been pretty quiet lately. I mean, aside from the usual. I don't think that's a bad thing either.
Er, by the way, to whichever girl happened to take some of my bubotuber puss, I hope you've not used it yet. It hasn't been diluted, and instead of curing your acne, you'll get really awful boils. Just a word of warning.
Has anyone started the potions homework yet?
